Create-Learning Team Building & Leadership strives in every interaction to: Make Teams & Leaders Better by improving team processes and individual effectiveness, that result in increased productivity & people who love the work they do.
I learned, through group interactive exercises, specific tools that I can use to tackle any problem solving challenge that calls for a little creativity. I left the seminar and immediately applied one of the solutions from an exercise. This saved me countless hours and frustration, while solving a challenge that has been holding up my strategic planning for the upcoming fiscal year. I highly recommend attending Mike’s seminars.
The Thinking Differently – Enabling Innovation workshop was an excellent combination of information presentation and a set of exercises that helped make the presentation content come alive. It was a very good use of my time.

The High Performance Teambuilding Certificate class, improved and expanded my definition of team at work.
I never looked at various committees I’m on or parts of my job that are project oriented as teams. I was part of an intact team for years and one of the things I struggled with professionally when I transitioned into an area of administration that relied on assistance from many programs and departments with no managerial authority was how to communicate and bring these people and departments together. I’m not there yet, but this class helped me define parts of my job as being project oriented and then label the members of that project team and the responsibilities they have. From there I am now able to better determine how we are performing and identify solutions to problem areas.
I used the Team Performance Model to identify where a project team of mine is. This helped me identify some unresolved issues. I met with her, with this in mind, and that conversation allowed us to progress from the uncertainty to clear agreed upon decisions and commitment within a 15 minute conversation, which is pretty impressive considering where we were 2 months ago.

It was a pleasure spending the day with you during our team building exercises. To say the program that you put together for us had impact would be a huge understatement. This was by far the BEST team building experience that we have ever had. I learned so much more about my team and what we are capable of. We all leave this experience confident that we can accomplish anything we collectively set our minds to. I want to sincerely Thank You for all of your time, patience, direction, and teamwork.
The teambuilding session was an enormous hit. Mike did a fantastic job of bringing us through several exercises that helped reach our goals of enhancing team communication skills and strengthening individual relationships to improve our effectiveness to work together as a team.
Mike Cardus did outstanding work with our Leadership Team last summer. He carefully planned sessions based on our specific needs and then adjusted throughout the program as he responded to the work of the group. I was so impressed with his ability to listen, craft a program and then adjust the plan in order to maximize our time together. I would highly recommend Mike for any type of leadership development/team building work.
Michael is a gem in a field of trainers; he truly stands out, bringing his own brand of passion and enthusiasm to each individual training situation.
